Shocking fact that if student want to get their master degree in a year, they should take Individual Studies (IS) with comprehensive exam in the end. There was only one student who take thesis and able to finish in one year. And I was asking my professor, he said that maybe it took one semester more to finish. In my mind, I will do my best to take thesis because a lot of people in my office give me a spirit that I have to take thesis so I can get further degree. But the matter is not only about next degree, but in fact that I’m frightened of exams, moreover comprehensive exam. I’d rather choose thesis than comprehensive exam, but for consequences, I have a financial problem. My contract with office is only one year program. Dear God, please help me to decide so I am able to move on confidently with satisfying result.

Early morning…

Wake up early, last preparation. I feel my heart can’t stop jumping, just kept thinking that I have to pass it in a year and I’ll be back soon with GPA min 3,50. (doing it just to make myself calm down, rather than worried)

Mb Sari and Lilia are coming. Go to the airport too early. I’ve said them that only took 45 minutes / maximum an hour from my dorm, but they insist that in case of traffic, we better to get there before we stuck in traffic. Last time I meet them, I hold them tight while crying. Garuda Indonesia fly at 12.45

Arrived in Svarnabhumi airport, wanna take picture but too shame. Hehe.. Such a huge airport so it take a long time to take my baggage. Not surprising, the toilet is a dry toilet. No water to splash.. Like in Mandarin oriental Hotel in Jakarta. Buy Thai Sim card, then leave the airport to Mabunkrong (MBK) by taxi. The driver can’t speak English so I can’t change my destination (suppose to be it easier to stop in Tesco Lotus Banthadthong road).

Indonesian student came to pick me up in MBK after I’m waiting for about one and a half hour. Walking from MBK to the Suwanna Apartment. Dinner in KFC, get free ice water. See location for orientation tomorrow.

Bahan:

Dada ayam, cincang

Udang,cincang

Wortel,daun bawang

Garam, lada

Telur

Tepung roti

Cara membuat:

Semua bahan, dicampur, kemudian dikukus. Setelah dingin, digoreng menggunakan tepung roti

MIE KUKUS

Bahan:

Mie instan, direbus sampai aldente

Wortel, daun bawang

Bumbu terserah (rasa gulai/ kari/ garam lada)

Sosis

Telur

Cara membuat:

Mie yang telah direbus dicampur dengan bumbu, sayur dan telur. Dikukus, isi tengahnya dengan sosis. Setelah dingin goreng dengan tepung roti.

UDANG SEMUR

Bahan:

Udang

Bawang merah, putih, Bombay

Jahe

Kecap

Mentega

Gula, garam, merica

Daun bawang

Cara membuat:

Udang digoreng terlebih dahulu. Tumis bumbu, masukkan udang, tambahkan air, tunggu sampai menyusut, masukkan daun bawang, matikan api

TUNA KUAH

Bahan:

Tuna

Bawang merah, putih

Kemiri, laos

Kunyit, jahe, daun jeruk

Garam, saos sambal

Cara membuat:

Tumis bumbu, masukkan tuna, tambahkan air, tunggu sampai air menyusut

TERONG TUMIS

Bahan:

Terong ungu

Wortel

Cabe

Daging cincang

Bawang putih, jahe

Saos tiram

Tepung maizena

Cara membuat:

Terong digoreng dulu, kemudian tumis bersama daging dan bumbu

OTAK-OTAK TENGIRI

Bahan:

Ikan tengiri

Air es

Sagu

Daun bawang

Bawang putih goreng

Merica, garam

Cara membuat:

Campur dan kukus semua bahan
